摘要: An ongoing challenge in scene perception is identifying the factors that influence how we explore our visual world. By using multiple versions of paintings as a tool to control for high-level influences, show variation details painting causes differences observers' gaze despite constant task and content. Further, by switching locations highly salient regions through textural manipulation, corresponding switch eye movement patterns observed. Our results present finding behavior are not simply correlated; saliency an observer direct their viewing accordingly. This work demonstrates contribution low-level exploration showing examination scene, even aesthetic purposes, can be easily manipulated altering properties hence, scene.
