摘要: CMV was isolated from the cervix of 4.2 per cent 191 gynaecological patients and 9.8 51 women post-partum; all were attending same general practice clinic. The excretion rate particularly high in early post-partum period decreasing to nearly normal levels as menstruation returned. Three 14 (21.4 cent) excreted before menses had restarted whereas virus only two 36 (5.6 who returned a menstrual cycle. Although this difference not statistically significant, significantly higher than group (p<0.05).
