On the Validity of Amiet's Model for Propeller Trailing-Edge Noise

摘要: A study of the validity model due to Amiet for predicting broadband trailingedge noise emitted by blade sections in rotation is presented. This widely used approximate analytically compared an equivalent exact model. Conditions de ning frequency range Amiet's are identi ed, and estimates its error low high limits provided. Using these criteria, tested on three practical applications : open propeller, a cooling fan wind turbine. It shown that, despite some fundamental theoretical di erences between model, agreement two models generally excellent at frequencies interest.
