摘要: The necessary daily amount of vitamin D3 in premature infants was calculated by Hovels and his group as being 25 mcg (1000 I.U.). This agreement with our own investigations. Without D3, however, the incidence rikkets small-for-dates newborns occurred usually at beginning second month life. Clinical signs rickets are still absent this time, while an increased activity serum alkaline phosphatase signals illness. Three groups prematurely born received up to 50 days oral doses 12.5 (=500 I.U.), (=1000 I.U.) or 9 25-hydroxycholecalciferol (25-HCC), respectively, one untreated served control. No differences were noted between four values calcium phosphorus. tended be higher 500 I.U. groups. prouved chi2-test significant (see table 2 3). It appeared that 25-HCC prevented rise slightly better than On a base seems three times effective cholecalciferol. One could speculate about delayed hydroxylation cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) 25-HCC.
