摘要: This paper studies factors associated with firm participation in export markets, focusing primarily on size and access to credit, based a survey sample comprising observations of 8,080 small medium enterprises (SMEs) (with fewer than 100 employees) non-SME firms developing East Asian countries across sectors. The main findings suggest the interdependent relationships between participation, size, credit. SMEs participating markets tend gain more while potential scale economies (firm sizes) are positively markets. estimation results also point supportive influences foreign ownership, worker education, production certification positive effects financial certification, managerial experience, collateral/loan value credit for SMEs.
