From knowledge to practice in chronic cardiovascular disease: a long and winding road

摘要: Abstract Although clinical practices evolve over time, the translation of specific research evidence into practice is unpredictable, inconsistent, and complex. In this paper, we use examples from chronic cardiovascular conditions to: 1) highlight two types care gaps; 2) describe most common potential barriers to application care; 3) outline which strategies for translating have been shown be ineffective, effective some untested approaches that hold promise.
