摘要: This paper presents a simple photonic-assisted instantaneous microwave frequency measurement approach with an adjustable range. In our scheme, different polarization processing is performed on the upper and lower branches, then powers of two branches are compared to obtain amplitude comparison function (ACF), which provides frequency-amplitude mapping. The system significantly simplified since only one modulator (PolM) single laser source required. addition, scheme achieves larger ACF slope, increases resolution. simulation, over range 3-42.8 GHz errors within $\pm 0.1\;{\rm GHz}$±0.1GHz achieved by optimizing dc bias voltage applied PolM angle. reference for measuring unknown received signal from radar system.
