Visible light communication based authentication protocol designed for location based network connectivity

摘要: Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a blooming research area which uses visible light spectrum as the communication channel. Exponential growth of Emitting Diodes (LEDs) deployment source encouraged to use for purposes well. With introduction VLC, LED can be used while providing primary function illumination. Since location-based network access protocols have not been implemented Wi-Fi devices, this has conducted with intention using VLC perform authentication. In our location authentication protocol, technology purpose and data transfer once device authenticated. The proposed protocol provides connectivity devices minimum changes Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) Protected Access 2 (WPA2) by VLC.
