摘要: We report the molecular cloning and characterization of two secretory proteins specifically expressed in vomeronasal posterior glands nasal septum, ducts which open into lumen organ. These are members lipocalin superfamily, consisting hydrophobic ligand carriers. immunohistochemically localized one mucus covering sensory epithelium, where primary reception pheromone takes place. The immunoreactivity on epithelium was evident neonatal post-pubertal periods, when close contact between animals plays critical roles suckling sexual behaviors, respectively. results suggest that small lipophilic molecules stimulate accessory olfactory system to regulate reproductive behavior mice.
