摘要: Abstract. The relationship between environmental factors and the occurrence of Smith's redbacked vole, Eothenomys smithii, was analyzed first by principle component analysis (PCA) to select suitability fit capturing results voles, subsequently multiple regression (MRA) identify significant affecting vole. Six research sites were established along six valleys showing rocky terrain in Tenshi Mountains at foot Mt. Fuji, Shizuoka Prefecture, Honshu, Japan, where closely related species, E. andersoni, is absent. Ten examined for vole three quadrats each site.
