摘要: Abstract To study the contribution of different nitrogen-containing functional groups to enhancement phenol adsorption, aminated activated carbons (AC) were characterized by N2 adsorption/desorption, XPS, Boehm titration, and pH drift method tested for adsorption behaviors phenol. Adsorption isotherm fitting revealed that Langmuir model was preferred ACs. The capacity per unit surface area ( q m /SSA BET ) linearly correlated with amount pyridinic pyrrolic N, which suggested these two played a critical role in adsorption. attributed strengthened π–π dispersion between basal plane AC pyridinic, N. kinetics found follow pseudo-second-order kinetic model, intraparticle diffusion one rate-controlling steps process.
