Model-Based Pseudo-Quad-Pol Reconstruction from Compact Polarimetry and Its Application to Oil-Spill Observation

摘要: Compact polarimetry is an effective imaging mode for wide area observation, especially the open ocean. In this study, we propose a new method pseudo-quad-polarization reconstruction from compact based on three-component decomposition. By using decomposed powers, model established as power-weighted model. Further, phase of copolarized correlation taken into consideration. The double-bounce scattering closer to π than 0, while surface 0 π. considering negative (double-bounce reflection) and positive (surface correlation, full has good consistency with real polarimetric SAR data. -band ALOS/PALSAR-1 fully data acquired August 27, 2006, over oil-spill are used demonstration. Reconstruction performance evaluated set typical indicators. Quantitative comparison given. Results show that proposed model-based great potential observation.
