摘要: This paper describes the research possibilities at Small Wind Turbine Field Lab and involved groups of Ghent University, covering different aspects a small wind energy system. In contrast to large medium-sized turbines, turbines are still plagued by relatively high production purchase costs, low reliability yield. Furthermore, most them have not been subjected field test program. Power-Link, knowledge platform has for three years operated modest site that drew attention lot manufacturers turbines. response, University decided launch (SWT Lab), subject more extensive tests. Now only yield is tested, but also topics such as grid integration, structural strength, noise propagation, generator drive train design tower construction studied. All these parameters correlated with meteorological data measured on-site.
