摘要: Organic carbon sources have been reported to simultaneously increase the growth and lipid accumulation in microalgae. However, there no studies of mixotrophic Porphyridium purpureum organic media. In this study, three sources, glucose, sodium acetate, glycerol were used as substrates for P. purpureum. Moreover, a novel trait-based approach combined with Generalized Additive Modeling was conducted determine dosage each source that optimized concentration cell biomass or fatty acid. A 0.50% (w/v) glucose optimum enhancement purpureum, whereas acetate performed well enhancing growth, arachidonic acid (ARA) eicosapentaenoic (EPA) content, characterized by its best performance promoting both ARA/EPA ratio. The dosages ARA 0.25% 0.38% (v/v), respectively. An 211.47 mg L−1 obtained at glycerol, which is highest ever reported. results suggested comprehensive consider several traits offers an effective strategy select economic safe microalgae cultivation. This study represents first attempt proved could be enhanced under supplements brightens commercial cultivation production.
