摘要: Morphologic and enzymic changes in heart lysosomes were studied following a chronic treatment of animals with cumulative dose 15 mg/kg adriamycin. Myocardial cell damage due to adriamycin included lysosomal changes, sarcotubular swelling, vacuolization myofibrillar drop-out. These structural more pronounced the 6-week treated group as opposed 3-week group. The number per unit area increased from control value 3.6 +/- 1.7 17.8 4.0 35.9 9.2 groups, respectively. scatter size distribution was much wider animals. Lysosomal hydrolases adriamycin-treated changed follows: N acetyl beta-glucosaminidase activity fell homogenate (H) nonsedimentable (NS) rose serum (Ser) fractions; drop alpha-mannosidase seen sedimentable (S) Ser an increase beta-galactosidase noted H, S acid phosphatase S, NS fractions. Lanthanum staining, used cytochemical probe for normal membrane permeability, revealed intracytoplasmic localization tracer only Malondialdehyde content significantly 6-weed groups. results show hearts which precede well accompany nonspecific permeability sarcolemma.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
