Design of recursive digital filters for the selection or rejection of a particular velocity in seismic signals

摘要: In this paper a new type of “velocity-selecting/rejecting filter” which passes or stops particular event in seismic signal is proposed. The velocity-selecting filter based on time-space band-pass with sharp passband for direction, and similarly, the velocity-rejecting band-stop filter. A technique designing such filters, terms an infinite-impulse-response (IIR) filter, presented, rotated version separable used. Finally, numerical examples are included to illustrate design theory.
