摘要: We present new XMM-Newton observations of the intriguing warm absorber in I Zwicky 1. This luminous and nearby narrow-line Seyfert 1 galaxy shows ionized absorption by two components outflowing gas; a low high-ionization phase with log $\xi$~0 $\xi$~2 respectively. Detailed modelling these data reveal complex variable multi-phase absorber. However, we find changes ionization state gas not to be straightforwardly correlated variability intrinsic continuum source, apparent contrast photoionization equilibrium. The observed hints instead at close connection between components, possibly both directly connected accretion disc activity. thus suggest phenomenological model capable explaining observations, consisting clumpy outflow where high low-ionization are closely linked. Changes over years mainly driven different densities clumps crossing observer's line-of-sight, which `skin' layer facing source accounts for more component.
