摘要: Abstract The mycelial biomass of fungi decomposing plant materials may be estimated by use a chitin (hexosamine) assay technique. A method is described together with discussion its limitations; whatever the sensitivity chemical analysis validity estimate rests on reliability conversion from determination to dry weight. Estimates made mycelium Coriolus versicolor during decay sawdust Castanea sativa show constant increase in biomass. economic coefficient derived 47 per cent which similar that for utilization glucose liquid culture. production are not possible due lack information concerning rates hyphal death and autolysis. extents mineral nutrient immobilization 39% N, 37% P 95% K.
