Exciton coupling and complexation behaviour of beta-cyclodextrin naphthoate

摘要: The host–guest complexation behaviour ofβ-cyclodextrin 6-O-mono-2-naphthoate(1) and 6-[(N-2-naphthoyl-2-aminoethyl) amino]-6-deoxy-β-cyclodextrin (2) have been studied by the circular dichroism method. exciton coupling band of 1 suggests that two naphthoyl moieties are partly included in one β-CD cavity. Host could form a dimer more polar solvent be dissociated less or adding guest. Solvent-induced, concentrationinduced, guest-induced variations were examined. No was observed for host 2.
