摘要: This study was carried out to investigate the effect of different levels dietary selenium enrichedmicro-algae supplementationon growth performance, carcass characteristics, blood biochemical constituents, and anti-oxidative status rabbitsunder Egyptian summer conditions. Total 90 male growing New Zealand White rabbits, six weeks old with an average initial body weight 757.5 g were used in this study. Rabbits randomly allocated experimental groups, 15 rabbits each group. The first a control group, other five groups offered feed containing, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4 0.5 mg Se-algae /kg diet, respectively. results showed that final gain not affected (P>0.05) by supplementation. Feed contain at 0.2 significantly (P<0.011) improved conversion ratio, best ratio (2.28 feed/g gain). Treatment  caused significant increase serum total protein, globulin concentration while reduce albumin concentration, fed diet supplemented 0.1 highest High density lipoprotein (HDL) (55.26 54.33 mg/dl, respectively). Dietary treatments (P<0.0001) reduced cholesterol, Low (LDL) lipids. There antioxidant capacity (TAC), Glutathione Peroxidase (GSH-Px), Superoxide dismutase (SOD) Catalase (CAT) as supplementation increased, additionally, rabbit diets T-AOC, (3.28 3.19 mMol/L, Also, recorded GSH-Px, SOD CAT (2.68, 47.04 640.67mU/ml, enrichedalgae thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS), compared As achieved hot (1498.79g), dressing (63.20%), edible giblets (3.80%) parts (67.02%). In conclusion, enriched spirulina utilized Se more efficiently organic form under Accordingly, meat can be fortified through enrichedmicro-algae.
