摘要: A procedure has been developed for the systematic evaluation of mechanical, thermal, and stability properties polymeric materials through study unsupported films. Films selected vinyl, acrylic, cellulosic polymers were prepared by knife edge applicator method mercury substrate technique. The technique afforded superior control film thickness facilitated removal. that very permeable to water vapor rather impermeable oxygen vice versa. This relationship is discussed as it relates a combination hydrophilic-lipophilic pore theories structure. vinyl films possessed mechanical those tested. Moisture absorption polymer was negligible. There no discernible decomposition according infrared analysis films, due photo-oxidation, and/or aging effects.
