摘要: Using a similar approach to that applied in acoustics and microwave reverberation chambers, theory of wideband propagation closed environment is discussed. Here, room viewed as lossy cavity, characterized by diffuse scattering from walls internal obstacles. For experimental results, measurements 3 8 GHz were performed 24 passenger section an aircraft cabin. This UWB system has the transmitter at ceiling height receivers armrest headrest positions. The for cabin being unoccupied fully occupied. In theoretical model, time volume, these parameters allow derivation remaining such path loss average absorption. RMS delay spread mean excess are also studied. power agreement between good within 1-2 dB, indicating excellent accuracy method, which extends estimating body absorption real world environments. total seated passengers dominated few who near transmitter. general, this absorbed relatively small, so effect marginal configuration communication system.
