摘要: Effects of temperature, storage time and their combination on germination aspen (Populus tomentosa) seeds were investigated. Aspen germinated at 5 to 30°C 5°C intervals after for a period under 28°C 75% relative humidity. The effect temperature seed could not be effectively described by the thermal (TT) model, which underestimated rate poorly predicted courses 10, 20, 25 30°C. A modified TT model (MTT) assumed two-phased linear relationship between was more accurate in predicting percentage had higher likelihood being correct than model. maximum lifetime threshold (MLT) accurately across all temperatures. An aging (ATT) combining both MLT models developed describe germination. When ATT applied data temperatures times, it produced relatively poor fit. Adjusting separately fit low high suboptimal range increased accuracy Both indicate that have distinct physiological responses within range.
