摘要: The implementation of advanced practice nursing (APN) roles can yield improvements in patient and health system outcomes, supportive leadership is integral facilitating the such roles. purpose this study was to explore awareness understanding APN among hospital decision-makers, learn about information they require ways which prefer receive that information. Fifteen administrators leaders from two multi-site acute care organizations were interviewed. Their practical knowledge based on experience developing or working with APNs programs. most common sources internal contacts (i.e., APNs) documents organizations. Participants reported difficulty distinguishing between nurse practitioners (NPs) clinical specialists (CNSs), identified regarding CNS as their greatest need. They required specific "value-added" benefits offered by an role. Strategies address gaps healthcare are urgently needed order support new sustain existing ones.
