摘要: In Primula obconica, a species with heteromorphic self-incompatibility system, the distinction between compatible and incompatible pollen tubes takes place on stigma surface in thrum flowers, self growing randomly over papillar cells. No differences were seen cross tube behaviour pin surface, but inhibited within stigmatic tissue length evident after 24 h. The bears proteinaceous pellicle binds lectin Concanavalin A. Removal of removes incompatibility barrier mature gynoecia. Bud pollination shows that cannot grow normal manner immature stigmas; random growth resembles selfs. Fewer reach style base young gynoecia smaller numbers seeds are set than flowers. Pin grains germinate aqueous media, longer pin. presence H3BO4 CaCl2 medium promotes elongation lengths equivalent to styles can be obtained. have materials their walls which diffuse out moistening. Prolonged washing media these reaction remains unchanged. Thus is differs from homomorphic, sporophytic system where wall proteins elicit response.
