摘要: In wireless networks relay nodes can be used to assist the users' transmissions reach their destination. This communication scheme, examining cooperation from physical layer perspective, has up now yielded well-known results. paper takes a different stance focusing on network-level cooperation. Extending previous results for single relay, here we investigate benefits deployment of second one. We assume that two relays do not generate packets own, users have saturated queues and employs random access medium with slotted time. obtain analytical expressions arrival service rates stability conditions, under collision channel. model system, in which are divided into clusters, each being served by one show its advantages terms aggregate throughput per user. quantify above, analytically case channel through simulations Multi-Packet Reception (MPR), illustrate when system yields significant advantages.
