摘要: INTRODUCTION The majority of studies which consider the kinematics basketball shooting have either analysed technique for shots from a single distance (e.g. Hudson, 1985), or compared across two distances Elliott, 1989). Whilst such methods allow comparison kinematic variables at distance(s) investigated, they do not permit conclusions to be drawn with respect their relationships over range distances. This is because case in there are only levels independent variable, possible interpretation its relationship dependent linear. objective this study was investigate between various parameters and using wide METHODS Three dimensional video techniques (50 Hz) were used record jump (0.9- 8.5 m), as performed by members men's quarter-finalist teams XVI World University Games. Eighteen sequences digitised 20 frames prior take-off 10 after release. Shooting established court markings. RESULTS correlation square release speed yielded value r = 0.90 (p < 0.01), consistent theoretical predictions. angular velocity elbow joint arm (r 0.75, p c 0.01) led expectation that latter would approximate quadratic distance. indeed case, especially greater than 3 m. Despite previous findings no difference when ANOVA on three group design, negative -0.68, found displacement release, suggesting decrease increases. No angle distance, despite reports contrary, seemed due effects changes heights current study.
