摘要: The scintillation index is formulated for modified Bessel-Gaussian beams propagating in weakly turbulent media. Numerical calculations applied directly to the derived triple integral show that, off-axis positions, of higher than zero order scintillate less Gaussian at large input beam sizes and low orders with increasing width parameter initially contributing positively this phenomenon scintillation. As exceeds two, advantage diminished. a special case, however, exhibiting lowest small sizes. When considered against propagation length, higher-order continue offer those zero. At various radial attains values toward edges but rises sharply when approaching axis. effect inner outer scales turbulence also studied, it found that while scale seems cause increases scintillation, influence hardly noticeable.
