摘要: Abstract In order to meet the growing global energy requirement, exhaustive research is carried develop and use variety of renewable fuels. Main objective present study compare performance, emissions combustion characteristics biodiesel derived from non-edible Karanja oil in an unmodified diesel engine results with baseline fuel. Important physico-chemical properties after transesterification were experimentally evaluated found within acceptable limits relevant standards. The performance parameters includes brake thermal efficiency different compositions at 5%, 10%, 20%, 30% 100% mineral Diesel. BTE was about 3–5% lower its blends respect diesel. Also, such as carbon monoxide, dioxide, UBHC (unburned hydrocarbon), oxides nitrogen smoke opacity for test fuels also measured. UBHC, CO, CO 2 However, NO x blend higher than analysis done using peak cylinder pressure heat release rate crank angle. biodiesel. experiments suggest that like could be a potential fuel play vital role near future especially small medium production.
