摘要: Abstract We have used radiation hybrid (RH) mapping and pulsedfield gel electrophoresis (PFGE) to determine the order positions of 28 DNA markers from distal region long arm human chromosome 21. The maps generated by these two methods are in good agreement. This study, combined with that D. R. Cox et al. (1990, Science 250:245–250), results an RH map covers 21 (21q). a subtelomeric probe show our includes telomere identified single-copy genes within 200 kbp telomere. Comparison physical genetic linkage shows “hot spots” meiotic recombination region, one which is close telomere, agreement previous cytogenetic observations increased frequency near telomeres.
