摘要: This chapter focuses on the seismic alert system of Mexico city. The Seismic Alert System consists four parts: Detection System, a Dual Telecommunications Central Control and Radio Warning for users. detection 12 digital strong-motion field stations located along 300-km stretch Guerrero coast, arranged 25 km apart. Each station includes microcomputer that continually processes local activity occurs within 100-km radial coverage area around each station. An algorithm locally detects estimates magnitude an incoming earthquake 10 seconds its initiation. receives information operational status communication relay stations, as well actual in progress. Information received from is processed automatically to determine used decision issue public alert. users disseminates early audio warnings via commercial radio audioalerting mechanisms residents City, schools, government agencies with emergency response functions, key utilities, transit agencies, some industries. frequency evacuation drills shows children at schools receive intensive training systematic manner, least month. (SAS) lesson City during Copala helps us identify societal strengths weaknesses warning signal. main goal life safety.
