摘要: The primary function of the immune system is to protect host against pathogens. Success vaccination infectious diseases has led efforts develop strategies activate a specific response cancer. However, this task proved be very challenging. In last few years there been rapid progress in identification molecular mechanisms by which detects pathogens and initiates responses. By contrast, recognition neoplastic cells lags behind, induction anti-tumour immunity even less understood. chapter we discuss evidence for role control tumour growth. We also review recent advances understanding that can alert presence lesions, data on immunogenicity their interaction with antigen presenting cells.
