摘要: Purpose: The frequency of immediate breast reconstruction (IBR) is increasing, and the types used are diverse. Adjuvant chemotherapy a life-saving intervention in selected high-risk cancer patients. aim our study was to determine how IBR type affect timing initiation chemotherapy. Methods: We obtained data from female patients treated by mastectomy with (IBR group) without (mastectomy only who received adjuvant between January 1, 2008, December 31, 2010. retrospectively collected including patient characteristics, disease treatment details, outcomes institutional electronic database medical records. were categorized as deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flap, latissimus dorsi (LD) flap tissue expander/implant (TEI).
