摘要: This study aims to investigate the engineering properties (i.e., physical, chemical, and adhesion properties) of bitumen incorporated with RH-Warm Mix Asphalt (RH-WMA) additive. Base a penetration grade 80/100 was added 3.0, 3.5, 4.0% RH-WMA (by total weight bitumen). The Response Surface Method (RSM) used determine optimum values base additive which meet specification softening point chosen as responses in design layout. Three solutions 3.04, 3.55 3.91% that were obtained from RSM analysis selected optimal values. Results physical tests show adding increases ductility whilst simultaneously reducing value for point. Analysis viscosity at various temperatures shows lowers when temperature raised 100 165 °C. lower modified binders improves their workability. result Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) test there is no complex chemical reaction between RH-WMA. surface free energy (SFE) conducted on SFE component higher amounts incorporated. addition 3.5% results highest 24.98 mJ/m2. increase suggests good aggregates.
