The effect of education based on health belief model on health beliefs of women with urinary tract infection.

摘要: Background: Urinary Tract Infection is one of the commonest infections which affect humans. Half all women have a UTI in their lifetime and fourth recurrent infections. Health behaviours can help patients to prevent recurrence changing beliefs necessary for health behaviour change. The aim this study investigate effect education based on Belief Model with Infection. Methods: This quasi-experimental pre-test post-test design, conducted 170 married Infection, referred selected hospital laboratories Tehran. were divided experience control groups. data collection tool was “self-administrated” questionnaire answered by samples both groups, prior intervention 12 weeks thereafter. (education Model) performed experiment group. Results: Based results, after average score perceived susceptibility (P<0.001), severity benefits cues action (P<0.001) group showed significant increase, compared group, however, barriers (P=0.235) not significantly different Conclusion: findings that effective promoting (except barriers) Therefore, it be suggested mentioned model used as strategies prevention women.
