摘要: Abstract A DNA vaccine that expresses the premembrane/membrane (prM) and envelope (E) genes of dengue virus serotype-1 was tested for immunogenicity protection against dengue-1 challenge in Aotus nancymae monkeys. The vaccine, 1 mg doses, administered intradermally (ID) to three monkeys intramuscularly (IM) others. For controls, a dose vector ID two IM one. All animals were primed then boosted at one five months post priming. Sera collected monthly analyzed antibodies by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plaque reduction neutralization test (PRNT). Dengue-1 detectable sera from inoculated month after first boost peaked second boost. antibody levels received via route twice those route. Six all naive challenged with 1.25×10 4 forming units (PFU) virus. Two immunized protected viremia while others showed viremia. mean days 1 1.3 or route, respectively vs 2 control DNA.
