摘要: When Professor Neyman invited me to attend the Fifth Berkeley Symposium, and give a paper on basic principles of design analysis experiments, I was little hesitant. felt certain that all those here must be thoroughly conversant with these principles, mull over them again would interest. This, however, is first symposium held since Sir Ronald Fisher's death, it does therefore seem apposite discussing some aspect his work should given. If so, what could better than which in its modern form he created? do not propose today history development subject. This did presented 1963 Seventh International Biometrics Congress [14]. Instead want take fresh look at logical Fisher laid down, action flows from them; also briefly consider trends, see how far they are really value.
