摘要: This paper gives a brief historical perspective on the first author's use of information systems in mathematical consulting. Experience this area has led to conclusion that numerical analysts must look beyond conventional expert if they are be successful reaching general scientific user community. With increasing personal workstations it is necessary give and advice while at computer terminal. In opinion authors ideal way doing through programming environment offers interaction with order actually solve user's problem.Such an come called Problem Solving Environment or PSE. (For excellent discussion PSEs see Ford Iles, 1985.) describes project aimed providing PSE for computing. The project, which NEXUS, can viewed conveniently two parts, namely, development set software modules constructing accessing knowledge base production bases particular application software.The briefly under release NEXUS.
