摘要: Background The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to compare clinical outcomes following single-incision laparoscopic appendicectomy (SILA) conventional multiport (CLA) for the treatment acute appendicitis. Methods An electronic search MEDLINE, Embase, Web Science Cochrane Library databases performed. Publications were included if they trials randomizing patients with appendicitis SILA or CLA. Outcome measures evaluated operating time, length hospital stay, total postoperative complications, and, specifically, wound infection, intra-abdominal collection ileus. Weighted mean difference calculated effect size on continuous variables, pooled odds ratios discrete variables. Results The literature identified seven randomized that met inclusion criteria meta-analysis. In total, 1108 appendicectomies included, 555 553 CLA procedures. There no significant differences between groups in incidence collection, ileus stay. However, associated a significantly longer time compared (weighted 6·96 (95 per cent confidence interval 3·79 10·12) min; P < 0·001). Insertion an additional port required 7·6 undergoing SILA. Conclusion SILA is safe procedure appendicitis, comparable outcome when undertaken by experienced surgeons.
