Highly sensitive electrochemical sensor for the food toxicant Sudan I based on a glassy carbon electrode modified with reduced graphene oxide decorated with Ag-Cu nanoparticles

摘要: The authors describe a method for room temperature preparation of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) decorated with Ag-Cu nanoparticles (NPs). nanocomposite (Ag-CuNP/rGO) was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy and transmission microscopy. A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified this dispersed is shown to be viable determination Sudan I (best at working voltage −112 mV vs. Ag/AgCl), remarkably increased electrochemical response compared that plain GCE. calibration plot linear in the 1.0 nM 10 µM concentration range, 0.4 detection limit (at signal-to-noise ratio 3). successfully applied ketchup chili powder.
