摘要: Abstract : Thi report describes the design, construction, and testing of a microwave scale model circular array broadband antennas. The ultimate goal this work is construction high gain direction finding using frequency independent antennas which would permit efficient operation over 2-32 Mc range. an attempt to experimentally verify certain theoretical results were obtained from calculations performed on computer. Restructions imposed by necessity keeping inter-element phase center spacings less than approximately .75 wavelengths have forced use three sets log-periodic elements - one set being added for each higher band. discussed here represents only lowest band full array. A scaled range 1000 2500 (array diamter 29 in.) corresponded 2-5 diameter 1210 ft.) was employed as limits. Typical radiation patterns are presented their relation computed discussed. (Author)
