摘要: Computational fluid dynamics are applied to an oscillating compressor cascade experiment gain further understanding of the flow field details and assess capability methods employed model relevant physics experiment. Previous unsteady two-dimensional Navier-Stokes calculations for this have captured global trends aeroelastic stability cascade, but also highlighted severe problems in modelling steady fields, resulting considerable deviations calculated pressure magnitudes from measured ones. In present paper, effects three-dimensionability, viscosity, tip leakage, boundary conditions leakage flows studied. It is found that a small secondary inflow (approx. 1.5% ot total massflow) has overwhelming influence on overall flowfield. Unsteady computations with without highlight importance using correct base achieve good results.
