摘要: Abstract Polycrystalline NiAl displays a brittle-to-ductile transition temperature (BDTT) at the relatively low of 0.3 T m . Explanations BDTT generally suffer from uncertainties in measuring bulk deformation mechanisms post-deformation thin foils. Therefore, present study emphasizes measurement by interpretation experimental and computer simulated textures. While develops 110 fiber texture during elevated extrusion, subsequent uniaxial below recrystallization results no evolution. This can only occur if active produce crystal rotation, consistent with reported 〈100〉011 slip system. Activation any secondary system must cause lattice manifest change texture. These suggest that additional systems are activated polycrystalline diffusional processes responsible for increased plasticity.
