摘要: Abstract The electronic transport properties of the molecular stacks in discotic liquid crystals (DLCs), have generated much recent interest. In particular, among a certain class these DLCs, triphenylenes, some derivatives exhibit high hole mobilities as demonstrated by time flight transit signals obtained transient photoconduction experiments. also been shown to one-dimensional behaviour. If DLCs are find application new materials it is desirable improve their properties. this paper we demonstrate that mobility and range greatly increased result ordering imposed complementary binary mixtures formed addition large core discogen triphenylene molecules.
