摘要: The genus Pan is the closest to our own and it includes two species, paniscus (bonobos) troglodytes (chimpanzees). later constituted by four subspecies, all highly endangered. study of genera has been incessantly complicated intricate relationship among subspecies statistical limitations imposed reduced number samples or genomic markers analyzed. Here, we present a new method reconstruct complete mitochondrial genomes (mitogenomes) from whole genome shotgun (WGS) datasets, mtArchitect, showing that its reconstructions are accurate consistent with long-range PCR mitogenomes. We used this approach build 20 newly sequenced which, together available genomes, allowed us analyze hitherto most dataset including 156 chimpanzee 44 bonobo individuals, proportional contribution subspecies. estimated separation time between chimpanzees bonobos around 1.15 million years ago (Mya) [0.81-1.49]. Further, found under probable genealogical model clades chimpanzees, Western + Nigeria-Cameroon Central Eastern, separated at 0.59 Mya [0.41-0.78] further internal separations 0.32 [0.22-0.43] 0.16 [0.17-0.34], respectively. Finally, for subset samples, compared nuclear versus have different patterns diversity, which could be result either processes affecting genome, such as hitchhiking background selection, population dynamics.
