摘要: This study discusses strength deterioration during the curing process of fly ash geopolymer and use CaSO4·2H2O (gypsum) as a remedy when was synthesized using 10M NaOH Na-silicate solution. The decline mainly due to widespread formation nanometer-sized cracks that were related excessive Na Si concentrations at an early age. Use 2 wt% resulted in best measured by temporarily reducing concentrations; absorbed SO42−, up 11% matrix within one day, formed Na2SO4 (thenardite), which gradually dissolved over time, slowly releasing ions. However, more than 4% gypsum suppressed overall development because too many ions locked into could not participate geopolymerization. addition impeded glass dissolution even halted used.
