摘要: This study is devoted to investigate the effects of mass eccentricity on seismic responses base-isolated structures subjected near-field ground motions. Superstructures with 3, 6 and 9 stories aspect ratios equal 1, 2 3 have been idealized as steel special moment frames resting a reasonable variety triple concave friction pendulum bearings considering different period damping for isolators. Three-dimensional linear superstructures mounted nonlinear isolators three components Under 25 motions, main parameters systems studied. These selected engineering demands including maximum isolator displacement base shear well peak superstructure acceleration. The results indicate that eccentricities do not remarkable effect displacement. In contrary displacement, torsional has raised up 1.75 times in three-story superstructure. Additionally, can amplify roof acceleration nine-story model approximately comparison symmetric one. It also concluded direction earthquake most impact shear, while are mostly influenced by perpendicular path.
