摘要: Dispersion in the vicinity of a building is governed by complex, 3-D recirculating turbulent flow field around it. The present investigation, carried out under CEC programme, has aimed at developing general computer method to predict and dispersion buildings with due consideration shape, type release atmospheric stratification. This paper describes methodology numerically predicting buildings. Predictions are obtained for cases rectangular prismatic normally incident thick boundary layers. Results computations passive buoyant releases compared measurements. new represents marked advancement computing bluff body flows, particularly respect representation plume. qualitatively good agreement very complex features revealed experiment.
