摘要: A hydrophobically modified cationic flocculant, in the form of aqueous dispersion, has been successfully synthesized via dispersion copolymerization acrylamide (AM), 2-methylacryloylxyethyl trimethyl ammonium chloride (DMC), and methyl methacrylate (MMA) sulfate (AS) solution. The molecular structure prepared copolymer was characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR). Meanwhile, influence hydrophobic comonomer on viscosity microstructure this investigated. It found that both particle size were decreased with increasing content MMA. Thereafter, flocculant used to treat oily wastewater, its oil removal ability assessed under various conditions. demonstrated obvious superiority for wastewater treatment. POLYM. ENG.
