A new Peng-Robinson modification to enhance dew point estimations of natural gases

摘要: Abstract Equations of state (EOSs) are widely used in calculations such as those involving reservoir simulation, process gas processing and transportation natural gas. Predicting the phase envelope, specifically dew points gas, is among important roles EOSs. In this study, a modification proposed to improve predictions point properties by Peng-Robinson (PR) EOS, where attraction parameter has been modified new empirical-based coefficient which function reduced pressure, temperature critical density. order validate modification, results presented for four major consisting cricondentherm, cricondenbar, pressure. Furthermore, performances original PR, Soave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK), Schmidt-Wenzel (SW) GERG-2008 EOSs have compared predict above with respect experimental data. Having similar qualitative trends properties, show that study gives better curves, followed GERG was developed particularly processed gases. The SRK SW comparatively PR EOS largest deviations.
